Good morning land people. Not much news apart from, again, an expected downwind leg that is going to be an up-wind challenge. Who would have said that the mighty Pacific Ocean was going to turn around on us, I hope not for long. We are expecting strong winds the next few days which will build an interesting sea state. It is going to be really nice to see these waves building up.

Unfortunately, the wind forecast indicates that we will not be going to surf the face of these waves, but we will try to surf their back.

In random news, the boat is going well, still tidy and not too smelly, at least from my nose perspective. The crew are all getting better, and you can often hear their enjoyment on deck and especially when they are helming. We are slowly making progress to our destination and weeks fly as we get deeper and deeper through the middle of the ocean. The temperature is dropping and being inside your sleeping bag is becoming a trend of comfort on board when not on watch.

Yesterday, we had the spectacular cinnamon buns that Laura made from Mac’s recipe, and you could hear samba music playing in the nav station from her best selection of music. We are looking forward for reaching winds and downwinds that will allow us to make 300 nm per day and get faster to Seattle.

We send you all good vibes as I am sure you are doing the same for us as we can feel them. Never stop chasing your dreams like we are doing here.

Vamos Punta!
