Hello everyone, hope you are all well,

Not much to report on this front really it is as cold and wet as you'd expect with the only real consolation being that recently we have been making excellent progress towards Seattle. The wind has done nearly a full 180 today so it was kite down and Yankee up which the crew performed excellently, and we are now going in very much the same direction but with the boat on the opposite tack. We are attempting to play catch up with the pack in front which is a great motivator and its fun being the hunter rather than hunted, although we definitely do have our work cut out for us. We cross the International Date Line today, so we regain a day, but most importantly we are officially getting closer to home! A brilliant milestone in the race, spirits are high and there is a genuine sense that we are actually getting closer to Seattle!

All the best from the crew, Mike and myself
