So many things to write about, with so little time. So I’ll start with the bad, my day started fixing a leaky head (toilet),only to find the problem was caused by something else, but it’s all good now.

Next the good. We did our first Headsail change, the wind picked up so was time to say goodbye to old faithful Number 1 and hosit Number 2. It all went really well, especially as I had changed how things used to be done, introduced a few new ideas. Sorry can’t share them or would have to kill you. I love how now the breeze has picked up and we are bouncing around everyone is full of smiles. Well maybe not everyone, I know Simon and TC are not happy to be on mother duty when they would rather be on deck having fun. Tomorrow guys, tomorrow, your fun will come.

Next the funny. We have the cuddy (hatch over the companion way) pulled closed to stop water going down below. There is a head ceiling hatch, that is also closed so you don't have a shower whilst sitting on the loo. Dave F went to the head thought it would be safe to open it whilst in there as it does get rather hot, when water did come down on his head. Only still in a heavy water bottle, the next thing from the helm all I saw was a poking up through the hatch with said water bottle in hand, a bit like "Thing" from the Addams family.

Next about Kevin. In case you missed it our yachts nickname is Kevin. Yes with boats we deal in she's but she just identifies as Kevin. Well Kevin is having a lovely time splashing along, going fast, and the crew are loving it, after so long of cruise sailing, it’s nice to have a bit of action. WE should start our Dell Latitude Rugged Ocean Sprint around midnight boat time, so we are dusting off our spikes, getting the blokes ready, no lycra though, I have a no lycra policy, maybe some active wear though.

Anyways, we are ready the guys already started have good breeze and it looks like they will keep it, but we will throw our all at it.

Thanks for reading.

Where’s the romance?

Love youse all

P.S. Ray and Geoff check your junk mail, I’m feeling unloved
