Hello from the last time this race.

What a race it has been. We had a bit of everything and after the last light wind race it was awesome to blow out the cobwebs.

I just want to say what a fabulous job the crew have done, we have new people steering, everyone taking on more jobs but the big thing is everyone just getting on with it, usually with a laugh or a joke, some of the jokes are a bit dubious though. As our female boat identifies as Kevin, I am now identifying as a lamp. I'm not really sure how this came about but there you have it. Mother watch is now daddy watch so some major changes on board

It’s nice to hear the crew say this has been the best and their favourite race so far, the crew work has improved in leaps and bounds and it is great to see ownership of roles. It’s been a bit tough sometimes as we were short crewed especially if one or two were down with the green monster and he heavy down wind steering experience was a bit light so we played it safe, so we are pulling into port feeling happy, so damage to sails and already getting on with jobs that need to be done.

A big thank you to our four guests, well they can't be called guests as they stayed longer than two nights, they were a very welcome and valuable part of the team, it's always nice to get new ideas from other boats, even if a few of them are recycled ideas of mine from previous races.

You might wonder why we are happy with sixth and not higher up, it's the improvement all around the boat, this is a team and a team that can keep moving forward, whoop whoop.

Thanks for reading and a big thanks to

James (resting confused face), regular crew, the non guests guests
