Hello everybody it’s James here,

Short blog today as we are currently quite shorthanded on deck and the conditions are all over the place, flying a Spinnaker with the wind doing 180° shifts is no fun at all! Aside from that, last night was another sailing roller coaster, with us catching Punta del Este and Ha Long Bay, Viet Nam only to lose them again shortly afterwards and then notice that Seattle and Imagine your Korea were now not far away.

Today is a special day as it’s Wendy’s birthday! So happy birthday!! The crew made her a fantastic cake and a card however the torrential rain did put a slight dampener on things (no pun intended!). As I mentioned before, we are sitting in torrential rain doing a mighty three knots. We've managed to claw back some ground on the pack which the crew have worked very hard for, and to be honest I could not be more impressed with how they have performed, and they deserve every bit of it. The forecast is for an almighty amount of wind to come racing down from the north east so it’s a rather tense waiting game. With so few crew at the moment, as some of them are sick, it could be a bit of a mad scramble to get this Code 2 kite down.

Quote of the day "oh look it’s one of those China sea icebergs" as a massive chunk of polystyrene floated buy.

Best wishes from Wendy our birthday girl, myself and all the crew!!
