Race of Their Lives 2 Screenings in Race Village

19 February 2016

Since receiving the warmest of welcomes into Da Nang, crew and supporters have been enjoying all the city has to offer, from first class Vietnamese cuisine to bicycle rides along the stunning beachfront.

With the deep clean and maintenance repairs well underway in the warm sunshine, the Clipper Race dome in the Race Village will offer welcome respite over the coming days with daily screenings of the Race of Their Lives 2 documentary series.

While the crew was racing from Australia to Vietnam, the second episode of their epic global challenge was broadcast around the world meaning the crew themselves have not had the chance to watch it. In order to make sure they don't miss out, we will be showing the first two episodes over the weekend in Da Nang.

The scheduled times for the screenings are:

1pm, Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 February: Episode 1, Race of Their Lives 2
5pm, Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 February: Episode 2, Race of Their Lives 2

So pull up a bean bag, grab a deck chair and come join us on Saturday or Sunday.

This is one event happening in a fun-filled and stimulating stopover for the Clipper Race crew at the end of The Da Nang New Discovery of Asia Race.

As a first time Host Port and Team Sponsor, Da Nang is keen to show off the best that the city has to offer, and is inviting the Clipper Race crew and supporters to embrace the Vietnamese culture and explore the stunning surrounding landscapes.

Under the backdrop of the Marble Mountains and surrounded by breathtaking beaches, Da Nang is a vibrant city shaping itself as a centre of culture, tourism and events. Its success to date has earned it the title of Tripadvisor 2015 Top Destination on the Rise.

Keep an eye on the schedule for updates during the stopover. Here is the latest stopover schedule and information:
