Race Update: HotelPlanner.com Redress

HotelPlanner.com (CV23) went to the assistance of a fellow Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race competitor CV5 at approximately 1700 local time (0600 UTC) on Tuesday 26 December
The crew member on CV5 fell overboard at approximately 1700 local time (0600 UTC) and due to its close proximity, HotelPlanner.com (CV23) came to the assistance and recovered the casualty within 15 minutes.
The casualty was looked over by the medical assistant on board CV23 and aside from superficial scratches to his leg, he is safe and well and in good spirits and has been transferred back to CV5.
HotelPlanner.com (CV23) has since resumed racing to Hobart and any request for redress will be lodged within 6 hours of arriving in Hobart, in accordance to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race rules.
The Clipper Race Committee will also examine any request for redress from HotelPlanner.com (CV23).
