Happy 80th Sir Robin!

Today legendary yachtsman and Clipper Race Founder and Chairman, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, is 80 years young.
The milestone birthday begins what will be a big 2019 for Sir Robin. 50 years ago, just shy of turning 30, he was at sea, just weeks away from completing his record breaking solo and non-stop circumnavigation.
To celebrate, friends such as Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Sir Chris Bonington; leading sailors Sir Ben Ainslie, Alex Thompson, Dee Caffari, and Susie Goodall; and some of the crew whose lives have been changed by the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race pay tribute to the man and his incredible milestone.
