Clipper Ventures are hiring a Business and Events Manager, a pivotal commercial role that connects Clipper Ventures' portfolio of brands with partners, clients and guests who are driven by adventure, ambition and exceptional share experiences.

The role sits at the heart of our existing SKIRR Adventures and Clipper Events brands, shaping and delivering our unique sailing-led experiences to wider audiences on the water and on shore.

The role

• Lead the planning and delivery of premium corporate sailing days, regatta participation and hospitality experiences, from first enquiry through to debrief, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Clipper’s safety, professionalism and sailing excellence.

• Drive commercial growth across Clipper Events and SKIRR Adventures through proactive business development, intelligent packaging and pricing, and long-term relationship management with UK and international clients.

• Develop and operationalise a new motivational speaking and leadership product, leveraging the Clipper Race story and wider brand ecosystem to create high-impact keynotes, workshops and event content for corporate audiences.

The opportunity

• Collaborate closely with management, Clipper Ventures departments and sailing professionals to design experiences underpinned by genuine ocean racing and high-latitude expedition expertise

• Open to experienced sailing professionals and strong corporate events or commercial candidates alike, this role offers scope to shape new propositions and progress your career in sailing, adventure travel and corporate events.

• A hybrid role, combining time working from home with regular presence in our Gosport office and on location at events, embedded in the heart of our on-water operations.
