Washington, DC returns as a Host Port and Team Partner on the Clipper Race for the second consecutive edition.

The Washington, DC team yacht represents the US capital as it races around the globe. The city welcomes the Clipper Race fleet at the end of Leg 7, showing Race Crew everything it has on offer, before seeing them off on their final leg of the circumnavigation. From sports, entertainment, cultural events, and community engagement, the Washington, DC stopover will be a very welcome destination for Race Crew to relax, unwind, and soak up the sights.

Faith has worked in sailing since 17, progressing from dinghy instructor to RYA Yachtmaster. She’s skippered in the Solent, trained future crew, and helped refit Clipper yachts. Now stepping into her biggest role as First Mate, Faith looks forward to developing offshore leadership skills and inspiring others in ocean racing.
