My Story: Circumnavigators
“It's very rare that real life outstrips Hollywood, but in this case it does.”

The Clipper Race doesn't claim to be a Hollywood experience, but what you see on screen could be mistaken for CGI. From desolate wilderness to the most extreme weather conditions and the relentlessness of pushing an ocean racing yacht to its limits, it's something that could have been dreamt up in a studio.
Yet, it is reality. 40,000nm, five continents, and eleven months out of your comfort zone. And for the circumnavigators on board, it's a chance to experience all it has to offer while taking on one of the most physically and mentally demanding challenges imaginable.
There isn't a textbook definition for the type of person who chooses to circumnavigate the globe under sail, but there is something that connects them all. It's the refusal to let routine define what they are capable of.
This is their story.
