For Fernanda Nunez, 40, a Cabinet Maker from Punta del Este, Uruguay, competing on the Clipper Race was a challenge first and foremost with herself.
She wanted an adventure that moved her, challenged her and took her away from civilization. After taking on two legs of the 2023-24 edition, what she achieved was so much more.
