Sailing Staff Update | Team Scotland

There will be a First Mate change on Team Scotland for Stage 10 from Seattle to Panama as First Mate Millie Apperley needs to return home for personal reasons.

Team Scotland will be joined by First Mate Will Owen on this stage. Will, from near Weymouth, Dorset in the UK grew up competing on dinghies and yachts. Will joined Clipper Race Training as an instructor in March 2025, sailing with Team Scotland as part of Level 4 Training in July 2025.

Will will meet Team Scotland today at their Leg 7/Stage 10 on board briefing.

We wish Millie well on her return to the UK and look forward to welcoming her back as soon as she is able to.
