Clipper 70 launches in a week

The highly anticipated launch of the Clipper 70 is just a week away and the excitement has already started to build throughout the crew taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

Saturday 12 January sees the start of the official launch of the brand new 70-foot ocean racer at St Katharine Docks in London. Throughout the week the opportunity to get up close and personal with the new yacht when it is open to the public.

The crew day for crew members signed up for the Clipper 13-14 Race takes place on 19 January and will include a tour of the new yacht as well as an update from the Race Team.

Sunday 13 January is one of the first opportunities for the Clipper 15-16 Race crew members to get together, the training schedule will be also be announced for the tenth edition of the race.

Recruitment Manager, David Cusworth will also be giving crew presentations to anyone interested in taking part in the world’s longest yacht race, with former crew and skippers at the launch throughout the week.
