Penalty points confirmed for Legs 6 and 7

Following the collation of all damage reports from skippers and repair/replacement costs up to New York for Legs 6 and 7, the following penalty points have been deducted and the overall leader board adjusted ahead of adding the Race 14 Scoring Gate, Ocean Sprint and finishing place points.

As it happens, the penalties have not affected the relative positions of any of the teams, but they do have an impact on some of the point differences between places.

The points for Race 14 including Scoring Gate and Ocean Sprint will be added once the yacht arrive and hand their race declarations to the Race Office team.
