UPDATE: MISSION PERFORMANCE DUE TO BERTH ABLE POINT MARINA 0830 LOCAL (2230 UTC) MONDAY 11 JANUARY 2016
Eleven teams have arrived at Abell Point Marina, Airlie Beach. The remaining yacht Mission Performance has accepted twelfth place and is making best speed and will berth at 0830 Monday morning local time.
Crews and visitors are being encouraged to give them something of a hero's welcome as the team sacrificed the race for going to the assistance of another vessel in distress which included a difficult rendezvous, crew transfer and mast climb.
Although the Race Committee awarded the team 11 hours 39 minutes redress for the incident, it was not enough to improve their position.
