The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race made its return to Punta del Este, Uruguay, this October, as the stunning South American city was confirmed as a Host Port for the Clipper 2025-26 Race.

This marks the fourth time Punta del Este welcomed the Clipper Race fleet, in partnership with the renowned Yacht Club Punta del Este (YCPE). Prior to reaching Punta del Este, the international Race Crew had raced over 7,000 nautical miles in the opening Atlantic Trade Winds Leg. This ocean crossing, featuring everything from heavy squalls and wind holes to the heat of the Doldrums is as tactical as it is gruelling, making Punta del Este a rewarding finish port for Race Crew.
