We're coming to the US
The Clipper Race is coming to the United States
This spring, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race arrives on US shores for an unforgettable stretch of the circumnavigation. In addition to the on-the-water action, a series of interactive public events in Host Ports Seattle and Washington, DC will be held to inspire future ocean racers.
After the high-intensity and challenging conditions of the North Pacific, the Clipper Race fleet will arrive in Seattle in April for some much-needed R&R and a milestone tenth visit to the Emerald City.
Leaving the Pacific Northwest, Leg 7 – The America’s Coast to Coast sees the event head south, bound for the nation’s capital via one of the world’s most iconic maritime passages, the Panama Canal. This is a ‘bucket-list’ moment in the global route, before the fleet heads onward to the US East Coast.
The United States leg culminates in Washington, DC, where the fleet will be welcomed with a programme of events, celebrations, and opportunities for Washingtonians to meet Race Crew and tour the yachts these adventurers call home. This is your chance to experience the scale, challenge, and spirit of one of the world’s toughest endurance races.
Track the fleet and explore what’s happening at each stopover as the Clipper Race makes its mark across the USA.
